Patricia Hersh is a professor in the Mathematics Department at the University of Oregon.

She graduated magna cum laude with an A.B. in mathematics and computer science from Harvard University and then received her PhD in applied mathematics at MIT. After postdoctoral positions at the University of Washington, University of Michigan, and Mathematical Sciences Research Institute in Berkeley, California, she joined the faculty at Indiana University Bloomington in 2004, moved to North Carolina State University in 2008, and then to the University of Oregon in 2019.
