The Hertz Fund: Your Annual Gift Has Impact
Gifts to the Fannie and John Hertz Foundation's Hertz Fund directly impact Hertz Fellows by providing the flexibility and intellectual freedom to take risks and harness possibilities afforded by the distinctive Hertz Fellowship and the influential Hertz community.
The Hertz Foundation’s highest fundraising priority is to secure unrestricted gifts supporting our annual Hertz Fund, which provides us with the flexibility to immediately address our most urgent needs and priorities. As a donor to the Hertz Fund, we invite you to select a preference from the following foundation priorities to help broaden our impact:
Where it's needed most. Your unrestricted gift enables us to remain nimble and responsive to the needs of our Hertz Fellows and the Hertz Community.
Hertz Fellowship Program. Your gift strengthens the Hertz Fellowship Program, from the recruitment and selection process to hands-on support of our Hertz Fellows through the completion of their doctoral program.
Community Activities. Your gift enhances the careers of all Hertz Fellows by supporting online and in-person events, professional development, and networking opportunities for members of the Hertz Community.
Diversity in STEM. Your gift strengthens the pipeline for recruiting, retaining, and supporting lifelong career success for diverse STEM doctoral recipients, and supports priorities identified by the Fellowship and Programs Council’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force.
