Jessica Seeliger, PhD
Jessica C. Seeliger is an associate professor in the Department of Pharmacological Sciences at Stony Brook University, and runs a lab focusing on membrane biosynthesis, structure and behavior in bacterial pathogenesis.
She was previously a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. Jessica helped organize the first two West Coast Hertz Fellow Retreats and contributed to the inception and organization of a pilot mentoring program for Hertz Fellows. She is also an avid violinist and violist. Jessica holds an AB degree in chemistry from Harvard University, an MPhil in chemistry as a Churchill Scholar at the University of Cambridge and a PhD in biophysical chemistry from Stanford University.
