Stephen Kurtin, PhD

Stephen Kurtin is the President of Lane Research.

He holds a Ph.D. in Physics and Applied Physics from Caltech; has been a Howard Hughes Fellow and a Hertz Foundation Fellow; founded three start-ups; and has served as chief executive of a public company. Kurtin has consulted with a wide variety of companies (including Aston Martin Lagonda Limited), is a named inventor for more than 45 U.S. Patents (most of which have been successfully licensed), and is the author, or co-author, of many peer-reviewed technical papers. He received the coveted Wall Street Journal Technology Innovation Award.
