Manjul Bhargava Named to Distinguished Position at the National Museum of Mathematics

Hertz Fellow Manjul Bhargava, 2014 Fields Medal winner and professor of mathematics at Princeton University, was named the first Distinguished Chair for the Public Dissemination of Mathematics at the National Museum of Mathematics (MoMath). MoMath is currently the only mathematics museum in North America. What’s more, in the United States, this is the first visiting professorship dedicated to raising public awareness of mathematics, according to a news release.
