2011 East Coast Fellow Gathering in Boston

At the February local meeting in Boston, Hertz alumni Mikhail Shapiro and Chris Loose discussed their ventures outside of academia. Chris talked about his experience co-founding Semprus BioSciences, and the diverse skill set he had to pick up on the way as the company grew. Mikhail, a serial entrepreneur himself, gave us a perspective of the venture capital side of the table, discussing his recent experiences at Third Rock Ventures.  Everyone also gave updates on recent exciting developments in our respective fields.
