Adam is a technologist and scientist. He is interested in developing new methods for accelerating science, and new strategies for mapping and analyzing the brain. Currently Adam is the Director of Scientific Architecting at the MIT Synthetic Neurobiology Group. In doctoral work in biophysics with George Church and colleagues, he co-authored experimental and theoretical papers on molecular recording devices and led engineering analyses of the problems of whole-brain structure and activity mapping.
