Darcy relishes interdisciplinary work and thinking about how molecular-level phenomena affect material behavior. Under the guidance of Professor Moungi Bawendi at MIT, Darcy studied semiconductor nanoparticles for use in solar cells and photodetectors. She collaborated on projects to translate semiconductor device physics into the nanoscale. These contributions to the field of nanoparticle semiconductor films will help establish a foundation for future use in low-cost flexible solar cells. Currently Darcy is a Reliability Engineer at Google[x].
