Jennifer’s thesis identified a new inductive bias that enables learning in a multi-representational setting and demonstrated the effectiveness of this bias in the domain of two-player perfect information games. She is currently a research scientist at Aptima, Inc., where she develops machine learning algorithms to identify network patterns in large datasets, develops algorithms that infer people’s priorities during planning tasks, and manages several projects that assess how ideas spread through social networks.

Jennifer is an accomplished ballroom dancer and singer, and she occasionally performs and teaches dance classes with her husband.
